Filtrate Eyewear launches into the snow market.

August 10th,San Clemente, Ca.

Filtrate Eyewear will enter the snow market this 2010 winter with the unveiling of 3 new snow goggle models at ASR in San Diego this week (Booth #1717).

“I’ve spent a lot of time in a goggle, which is why I am so excited about the new goggle line. These goggles have something to offer for everyone. The quality and technology is in place for the core rider to use in any conditions and all this whilst maintaining our accessible price points.” says Braly Joy, Director of Marketing.

“We are excited to add another category to our current range of eyewear. Our plan this season is to launch 3 models all priced below $100 retail into select snowboard shops across the country. The Filtrate goggle line will be made available to retailers in Mid October.” Says Sean Fleuriau, USA sales Director

North America Launch

Filtrate Eyewear prepares to launch into North America

March 18th, 2010 marks the arrival date in San Clemente of Australian eyewear brand, Filtrate. New to the US market, Filtrate offers premium quality at its price point and is poised to become the most accessible action sports inspired eyewear brand in today's market.

The brand has been brought over by USA CEO, Andre Sickinger from Australia after achieving six years of growth and success with the product down under.

“When the opportunity arose for Filtrate Eyewear to branch out in North America, we felt it would be fitting for an Australian to head up our brand” says Wade Sutton, President of Filtrate International, who has a long history in sales, design and development within the action sports industry.

Andre’s background includes working with Martin Daly on the infamous Indies Trader surf charter vessels and a managerial position at Tom Carroll’s board store (Sydney Australia ). He came on board with Filtrate early 2009 and shortly after took the reigns for the American market.

"Our opportunity is to fill the void of premium styles in today’s price point category", says Andre Sickinger, CEO, Filtrate North America.
